The guy that does my installations is JT, the owner of AL & Ed's in Huntington Beach. It's worth the drive to get it done right. The 9500ix is n excellent choice for LA, but the ZR4s struggle against the Ultralyte, which is the second most popular gun in SoCal.

Hey, djrams80 , thanks for the information.
yea, i heard some bad things about zr4, but it is cheaper...
i also ordered veil g4, from what i read, veil + zr4 is also a good combination.
i will try better laser jammer on my next car though.
    again, thank you.

Cheaper than speeding tickets, lawyers, and raised insurance rates?

    I think not.

Self-installs are extremely easy, and that's an understatement. I can't see paying someone to do it.... its not hard, it doesn't really take that long, I enjoy the work and I know its done right. If you did it yourself you'd also be able to get Blinders for the same budget as the ZR4's + installation. I've seen a couple of paid installs that made me wonder....

    Hey, man, thanks for replying.
i tried to install it this afternoon....
i think the front part is easy but the rear part is a pain in ass..
i thought the installation is easy, but after looking at my trunk, i know it is not possible for me to do it on my on own, i dont think i have enough tools to get this done.
by the way, it is a 98 honda accord. it looks like the rear part is totally blocked. there is no way to get the wire through that trunk from outside to inside.

It can't be that hard, there are many here with Accords who have installed them in the rear.

May have to pull rear seat, but that is just knowing the trick.

    Maybe this will help.

I would skip the install in the back. One ZR-4 head doesn't work anyways in the rear.
Some debate it, but you may want to put that rear head up front.
