    Default 9500ci ZR4 jamming tests!

Radarrob was gracious enough to help me test my setup today and we drove about 2hrs each to meet up in the middle. it was really great meeting another enthusiast, especially one with so many cool toys. Thank you Radarrob!

    Test track:

Hers one of the videos with HID's on and JTG except for the part where i think Radarrob was able to get a reading off my tire, lol.
Problem videoing with a small digital camera is its hard to aim and see. We did at least 7 passes with different parts of the car being targeted, and not using the camera to insure accuracy, and every time it was JTG with the HID's on.
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqgv6dsmeXc[/ame]

We ran the tests with my ZR4's today. We used TruSpeed, Pro2, LA and for radar we used z35 pop gun and kustom golden eagle I 35.5 ka.
The laser results were what i expected on my 04 Acura TL till we turned on the headlights. We also did some QT testing simulating a real encounter and the results were quite impressive.

Test strip was about 1000ft for laser and 1200ft for radar.

    TruSpeed:
    LH no speed 343ft
    RH 30mph 404ft
    Front plate JTG

    pro2
    LH 13mph 39f
    RH 6mph 33ft
    Front plate 30ft 7mph
    plate rear 195ft 19mph

    LA R
    LH no speed 7.82m
    RH JTG
    Front plate JTG
    Rear TL 274.6 no speed

    TruSpeed with HID headlights on:

    LH JTG
    RH JTG
    Front plate JTG

    pro2 with HID headlights on
    LH JTG
    RH JTG
    Front plate JTG

We also did some KA 35.5 QT radar testing & K band z35 pop testing. POP testing neither RD alerted consistently enough at any moving distances, up close the V1 did very well.

9500ci vs kustom golden eagle I 35.5 ka QT testing:

I ran my V1 which is known to do very well with QT. We did about 4+ runs simulating a real QT scenario at distances. We also did some testing with QT at closer range and the amount of KA reflection and intensity would confuse the ci and prevent alerting to QT. So we did about a 1500ft moving test.

Out of the 4+ runs with about 5 hits each time the 9500ci and V1 alerted simultaneously and the only times (2) the CI missed was when QT was implemented but speed wasn't acquired by the kustom golden eagle (very fast QT). V1 only missed once.

    Results were:
    V1 19 out of 20.
    9500ci 18 out of 20.

Here are a few examples of the QT testing,

Yes, but JTG with ZR4's, very impressive.

Now i dont need an LI till i get laser hits more than once a month. Rear was pretty bad unless the shots were only center of the plate, tail lights were pretty much PT.

    Very impressive results!!
I think the results is because of your perfect install and/or shooter.

    Shooter makes all the difference.

To be fair, even the LI has problems on the rear of a car that has no good mounting options. Install is everything.

I believe this was on your car correct? I don't think it made a difference because your vehicle is so reflective (white, chrome). CJ's vehicle on the other hand is a dull gray.

Its Anthracite Metallic, not dull gray.

Its probubley the type of HID's Acura uses, defanetley difrent than most. As well as my smaller front end and concentrated ZR4's. We shot the lights, center mass hood all over the front and it was JTG with the HID's on. I believe we did get a reading by shooting the tire one time at 200ft or so.
