I find that when I put a little bit thicker coat on gravity tends to make the overall coat a little more even, maybe cause a thicker coat is heavier and and runs a little quicker :?:
Just don't get it on your paint and let it sit, the stuff will soak into the poars of the paint and stain it badly! :x Add a bra to the 2000 and you'll be a stealth fighter! :P
Thanks for the tips. I think where I boldfaced your quote is where I screwed up. I kept brushing and brushing...hoping for the brushmarks to go away!!
I may redo it. But I'm kinda lazy. So maybe not.
Does not look bad but yeah I can tell you went over it a bunch!
I am ordering a bra from Colgan. I don't care for the look of bras, but I've kind of sold myself on one since:
a. It will make me more stealthy to laser, and
b. I've noticed a few more *BEEP* chips in my paint, and I am getting sick of it.
If I can ever decide on which jammer to get, I'll do that too. But over in the jammer forums there are so many arguments about which is better, I can't make up my mind.
With a bra & veil on that nice stealthy front end I'm doubting you will really need a jammer (especially since you have no front plate)! If you do buy a jammer I'd go LPP!
I appreciate the advice, holein1. Here are some pics I just took (it quit raining):
Right headlight (the worst). I hate how foggy it now looks:
Left headlight. I did this one second, and it came out slightly better:
Notice how it "fogs up" my HIDs? I don't dig it. But that is just a look, so if it still illuminates the road, I guess no problem. I'd go test it now, but it started friggin' raining again:
