Default Photocopied plates method Tested w/ pics

After speaking to a couple of people here and getting some help, i decided to use the photocopying method in order to reduce the retroreflective surface of the plates and to make them more stealthy.

I have documented some tests and have included before/after pictures on my site.

The great results are located at http://beam.to/stealth .

The photocopy plates, in my opinion worked well.

I really want to find out what the punch through is though....
    can anyone test this?

Sethy...I know you are up for this, right? 8)
Chris, can you try this? Even though you do have a jammer.

thanks to Chris and spankyaf in advance for prior advice on the plates.

I have not yet covered the plates in veil yet... I will recieve veil in 2 week and then its veil time and i will update the pics and results.

Thats pretty cool, thanks for the great work.

I just wonder if the LEO's could bother you if they noticed it. It probably wouldn't be so noticable during day, but at night...

    You got a good point.
I remember Sethy had a good excuse for this problem.
He said if they bother you about not having your real plates in the front, just tell the officer that the copy is used to protect your real plates from dirt and grime, since you are a big collector of license plates

Good Job.. I like the idea of covering over the regular plates to keep the paper plate flat

I can tell you with a Veiled cover Laser Shield (both sides Veiled) you can not tell. I dont have the real license plate in the back of it. Basically the replica plate is a photocopied plate with a thick lamimant

very clever idea and very well done on your site.

Got caught recenty ,June 05, in NY state , at 1040 feet by Lti Ultralite with

a car with no front license plate but without Veil , now I just

ordered it .Even the V-1 did not set of , probably the diode capter

was a bit hidden by the wiper arm ?

in any case , laser is a killer and the trooper like their toy.

soon everybody will be cooked by laser ?

So if i photocopied my front plate and covered it with clear contact will that still reflect the laser???

If I have the real plate behind the photocopied one wont the laser still reflect??

My number plate is black and white so it is easy to photocopy...and I am doing a big road trip where laser is everywhere...so i might do it tomorrow, it would be awsome for somone to test the range with a laser....
