Default Does this make laser any more difficult?

Hey everyone. I am interested in buying VEIL but I know that having a white vehicle still leaves a big risk open for getting a laser ticket.
anyways I just bought this baby and I am wondering if the bush grill, cow pushing deer deflector on the front would make it any more difficult for police to use laser successfully on my truck. I am also wondering what areas would be best to use veil on (headlights, chevy symbol, etc) Here are some pics.Oh I also have an Escort 8500 x50 on its way from roy. think i'll be too high up to detect laser?? :-P

    Thanks everyone.

Wow, now that's an easy target for laser! I've seen worse, but that is pretty bad.

I would say DEFINATLY get the Veil and coat the headlights, and the crome bar for sure, along with anything else shinny. Also spend the extra few bucks to get a laser sheild and put that over your front plate. That will be about as good as you can get without a Laser Jammer.

With the recent developments I would hold off on getting a jammer until the new SML tests come out. Then you will see the best one on the market and beable to make a decision from there.

About the detector picking up laser. It will be able to pick it up if you are targeted from a long enough distance away. 1000 ft or under and you might be in trouble.

I hope this helps and good luck

There is hope for all of us! I have a metalic silver car, which is the easist to get a reading from with laser. Here is my take...

I spend about $300 for veil and a blinder, and it has saved me numberous times and payed themselves off multiple times. I figure, it only takes one ticket to drop $300, so I may as well invest it in somthing that will keep my insurance rates low, and not have to pay a ticket.

If you are not interested in the jammer (even though I highly recommend blinder) I would get veil, and a license plate cover. Coat the inner part of the license plate cover and the outer part of the licnse plate cover, and coat your headlights. Mount your x50 low and start feeling protected from long distance laser
