I drove to Sebring, Florida and back, and mostly on the trip up, I plowed through some massive swarms of love bugs. They're pretty much entirely coating the front surfaces of the car. This is worse than I have ever seen before, and I've made this very same trip many times.
The headlights aren't quite as bad as the bumper, but I think there are still at least a couple dozen good hits on each headlight. If you're familiar with these things, you'll know that they're highly acidic, and when they harden, they're tougher than epoxy. Solvents don't seem to remove them, only soap and a massive amount of elbow grease.
They've been on there since Friday night, and I'm hoping to get it washed today or tomorrow...what's the prognosis on the Veil? Is my perfect application going to survive, or am I going to have to reapply?
