I'm withholding the name of vendor I received it from for the time being. If they fix the problem, I don't want to cause them undue trouble... but I ordered a can of Veil and today received it opened. Everything in the packing can was unused, except for the small can of Veil itself. It had been opened, was wrapped in some kind of paper towels (that were soaked through black), and stuck in a clear plastic bag with a twist tie. The box smelled to high heaven. I believe a product shipped like this should come with its own hazmat team.
I was told by the vendor that if it was opened, it came to them that way from the factory... which I find very hard to believe. Why would someone from the factory open a can and ship it out like this when they have an unlimited supply? They are, after all, the factory.
I took photos, and sent them to the customer service email the vendor provided, and they said they would see what they could do.
So... there are no returns on Veil, but I don't want a refund... I want my f'in can of smokie suppressant to use on my car for a cross-country trip. I'm leaving in a week. What can I do if they don't fix this problem?
