Default Can Veil G4 now be used on license plates?

I have a small jet black coupe. I am very reluctant to put anything on my headlights. Has anyone put Veil G4 their recent model year headlights? (Has anyone even gotten any Veil G4?)

If you don't like the effect after you apply it, does it come completely off with no residue and no effect headlight coverings?

I would like to at least put Veil on my license plate but I know this was not recommended for the prior formula. What about the new one? How noticeable is it?

I don't understand why it was Ok to put old Veil formula on headlights, but not license plates. Was it do to a reactions between the Veil (or solvents in it) and paint on the plate (and the lack of any paint on the headlight cover)?

I don't care as much about the cosmetic looks of the plate versus the car (unless the Veil really damages it - I just don't want to get in trouble for having it since any covering (such as the laser shield) is illegal in Massachusetts. (I have a Massachusetts plate.)

Even if the new formula now works on license plates, would it even be worth it just to put it on the plate and not the headlights? I think I read that laser may have a tougher time with auto-level/adaptive HID's but I don't know why that would be so.

I realize for better protection, I also need a jammer, but it is going to be sometime before good tests of the new Cheetah PASS system have been done and the results publicized or before we know if LI's CS is going to improve and if they will stand behind their products.

Yes veil is completely removable. Putting veil on the plate with the old formula just looked horrible very splotchy, can't tell ya about the new formula (however I'm sure the same thing will happen). Just get a laser shield, 99.9% of cops will ignore it! Take a scotch bright pad and lightly scuff the reflective coating off the plate and then add a laser shield and G4 to the headlamps & fog lights if you have em'.

Keep in mind, in the thread where these photos were originally posted, somebody said that those headlights were tinted already, so Veil G4 may not actually be that dark...I guess we'll get a better variety of pictures when the first production run gets shipped out in a few weeks

I used Veil (bought in Oct. 07-whatever version that is) on my plate. Then put a clear plate cover over it, also having a light coat of Veil.

The plate just looks a little dirty like when it rains, and you get road wet all over it. I actually got pulled over, for not having a front plate, and the LEO even said, "plates a little dirty...hard to read...need to clean it off".

I said sure get right on that.

Kills the reflection just like I need, but looks like normal dirtiness...which I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for. PERFECT!!

Old VEIL looks great on Delaware plates. Actually makes the plate look better.
