    Default Veil doesnt stay

I have ordered Veil from Roy three weeks ago.
I washed my car and let it dried for more than 24 hours.
I then applied Veil in my garage and let it stays for 24 hours before driving it.

However, last Wednesday, it rained and I was driving on the highway, when I got home and look at my headlights, about 90% of Veil was gone.

Did I do anything wrong or had anyone experienced this?

    Please advise.

What was the weather like while it was drying (temp)? For the veil just to was off makes no sense.

    Kic,

When the car was washed was it an automated one or performed manually?

I washed it manually at the Car Wash with high pressure water spray.
I havent washed it since I applied the Veil.

Did you thoroughly clean the lights with windex or alcohol before you applied Veil? I think it's pretty sensitive to contaminants.

    Nope, I didnt.
It is a brand new car, so, I didnt think of doing that to it.

You definitely need to clean them thoroughly with alcohol before applying Veil, then dry very well and let it air dry a while longer. Washing the car will not remove surface contaminants that can affect Veil application.

Also when I did mine I scrubbed the headlight covers with 3M Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover (an ultra-mild abrasive paint polish). You can get it at Pep Boys. It removes any teflon-like coating on the covers that would prevent Veil from adhering to it.
