I've got some G4 Veil on order, and I was hoping that someone with a little experience could help give a newbie some tips.
I tried applying the last generation product on the headlights of my C6 Corvette, but it went horribly awry. The stuff streaks like a college kid pledging a fraternity. It seems to be due to the fact that the covers are at an extreme rake/angle. They're practically horizontal. And they're curved. That makes it almost impossible to distribute evenly with the included foam brushes. I had to remove it the same day due to it looking so horrible. That after spending hours trying to get it on correctly (in a cool, shaded place, ambient temp in the low 80s).
One thought I had was to get some of those clear vinyl stick-on headlight covers and pain them before sticking them to the headlights. Problem is, those can cause cracking in the headlight plastic on Corvettes. There's even a recall for that particular problem.
