    Default Testing Veil with rangefinder

I'd like to do my own before and after tests on my own car. I have a high quality laser rangefinder (a Bushnell Legend Pro) for hunting. Will it serve as a suitable proxy for a traffic laser speed measurement device?

If your Bushnell operates at the same wavelength as a lidar gun (904 nm I believe) it would be an acceptable substitute I believe.

One thing I thought of doing when I Veil my car is to take before and after pictures with my digital camera in nightshot mode. The difference should be readily apparent in a IR photo. Plus such pictures would reveal "hot spots" that need to be Veiled or otherwise cloaked.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Well, it sets off the laser alert on my BEL895 so I guess it must operate on the same frequency as the LIDAR guns.

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I were to do this, what time of day should /I take the picture in nightshot mode?
