So last night I was driving to a store to pick up a late night movie to watch and as I turn into the parking lot see big red and blue lights come on behind me. After the initial explitives that come with a pull over the officer walks to the window. I guessed why, because of my rear laser shield I have and how dark it is. The cop preceeds to tell me he couldn't even see my plate (which isn't true) and thats why he pulled me over. He then told me "I know why you have these, I know they block the red light camera's and stop them from giving you tickets..." I was a little confused I thought thats why they came out with the new Blur plate cover for that not that everyone of them would. But I do have G4 on my plate cover and its pretty dark. I did not get a ticket he just told me to take it off. I thought the law said it has to be able to be seen a 100 feet away during the DAY??! Clarification! and is the cop right about the plate covers blocking all cameras? Also is veiling the inside of your cover just as effective as doing the outside or is it less effective because it doesn't have the direct connection with the laser RF transmission? Thanks guys.
