Default is this going to be a problem without VEIL?

    Hi

I got my lasershield today, but i had to get some kinda plastic frame to mount it. As u can see in the pic, i completely forgot that the frame was fully reflective, it just did not cross my mind that it would certainly help a laser gun!!! Until after i got home , then i realized.

As u can see in the pic........light only reflects off the top part of the frame. Would I need to do something about this? Veil guy? Pls comment?

I could always put some black tape to cover it descretly.

    Thanks

I don't have any veil left

I could always stick black tape over the edges, or just paint it with a thick black felt tip pen.

the black tape sounds like a good idea. it would look alot better than black marker. looks alot better now with the lasersheild rather than your plate being as dark as it was before

Here is a pic during the day.

From far, the edges are very very small, i even wonder if it's enough to reflect the beam from a laser gun back to the gun?

    Veil guy: Pls advise?

You gotta deal with ANYTHING chromed, that includes the plate frame AND the Mazda logo... for the frame you can easily use any black touch-up paint (the one with a little brush), for the logo, it's up to you if you wanna paint it in black...
And hey, what have you done with the whole can of Veil??? I have a small car like yours, I've done two coatings and hardly used 1/5 of the whole can, headlights only!

I already veiled the mazda logo.

I shared my can with somebody else, and he has done his back and front of two vehicles, and i have done my back and front, and i have also done my front several times, thats why its finished.
