Not thrilled with my first attempt... One headlight looks pretty good... the 2nd one (did after feathering in the veil on the first.. looks "splotchy".. even though I tried feathering it with the foam brush (i got better ones from Michaels, like recommended here) while it was drying.. seemed to "seperate" clear and darker areas is some places. To the casual observer - they won't see anything.. but anyone who looks closely will tell.. and on my new (to me) SL500 - it's not what I want. So will probably try again.
I shook the can good.. cleaned the headlights with denatured alcohol... Because one headlight worked good, and the other didn't.. i'm assuming its the "time" difference of after shaking that it was applied - OR that light didn't get cleaned as well?
I'm thinking of trying the airbrush method next time... is there a general consensus that this is a better way to go for the best look?
