Default Two years old and still going strong...

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to everyone.

I hear that Santa has decided to Veil Rudolph's nose to avoid detection this year!

I am pleased to report to you guys that my silver vehicle has now had Veil on it approaching two years with no real sign of wear and tear!

Anyone else had Veil on their car for really extended periods of time?

    ...Be curious to know.

Mine was on for about 5 months. I cannot complain. the only reason it came off is because of very heavy snowfall and everyday highway driving. I am happy!

My current coating is about 6 mos old, the longest of any coating I've put on and it is still in good shape. The shortest application I had was about 3 weeks, and it looked absolutely chipped and horrible after those 3 weeks. I believe the difference between the two applications is insects.. In my experience Veil does not seem to like insect splattering into it at all, seems to remove it even better than rubbing alcohol.

It was on the EVO for 6 full months - then my headlight got hit so I had to replace the headlight - after that I reapplied and it was going strong right up until I sold the car 2 weeks ago

Now its time to stealth out my 98 Chrysler Cirrus so I'll be happy to report this time next year that my coating is still going strong

    Mike,

That Evo was a nice ride. What color is the Cirrus?

I'll be interested to see how you fair during this winter season...it can be pretty brutal in upstate NY during this time of year.

Bob, the ole Cirrus is a dark gold / peweter I think they call it? It was an excellent candidate for laser tiny headlights that are fogged over already - the owner was like you might be able to get those fixed and I'm like oh no those are staying. It has a silver grill right now that I'm going to just take off and paint a flat black - then etch enough of it out for my two blinders!

I'll go take a few pics here in a minute cause I'm going to need some recommendations for blinder placement just to make sure I've got the right idea!

    Take care!!
