    Default volvo grill

Hey everyone. I'm thinkin about getting veil and the laser shield for my license plate. The thing is my front has the shiny silver big volvo grill. Althought my license plate and headlights are protected...what about my grill? Wont the laser just bounce off the shiny grill? I dont think I could veil up my entire grill lol.

I had an S70 with a big shiny chrome grille. I would assume that it it is shiny enough to send back a significant return to the gun. I had mine Veil'd for a while, but I decided it looked strange so I used a flat black enamel and just sprayed the thing. I think it actually looked pretty good that way. (Black car).

Keep in mind that if you Veil it you may damage the chrome finish. Mine looked funky when I removed the first coat of Veil (not that it mattered). Go that route at your own risk!

One of these days I am taking my big shiny Saab grille apart and taking a wirebrush and taking off all the plastichrome and painting it a nice dark grey like the bumpers. The colour is slightly metallic, :?

A guy on SaabCentral did this:

I like I like! (my car's the same colour and I got the little turbo license plate too, but I got mine backwards so when I get behind somebody...)
