    Default Veil-Proof Laser Gun ?

Do you think it is possible the other side tries to develop a laser gun that neutralises Veil ?

Then I will be obliged to buy Super Veil ...

Only way they would be able is to make a significantly different wavelength or just put a much more powerful diode. But if they just "supercharged" the gun VEIL would still be effective, just it would be longer distances.

Laser is light. VEIL absorbs light.

Until the laws of physics are relealed, VEIL will always work against laser.

Veil absorbs IR without absorbing too much visible light. Saabr is right, they would have to find a wavelength of light that passes through it. I don't know the width of Veil's absorbtion spectrum but I'm willing to bet it's pretty wide.

Heh. I guess they could do that but I don't want to be anywhere near the receiving end. Somehow I don't think a UV laser is going to be eye-safe. ops:

Besides, we could just smear sunblock all over the front end of the car.

How many people really know about Veil (and LaserShield) and put them on their cars :?:  Very, very few, I think 5% is a super-high number, and cops are very well aware of this fact (people not knowing about the real advantages of using Veil and LaserShield), that's why now, and in the very near future as well, there is no demand for more powerful laser guns... that's how I see it

Never underestimate the quest to have dominance over all motorists. How many people in Ontario use an RD? You probably have more Spectres in use by the OPP than RD's in use by the population

Or the whole point of laser guns in the beginning, no RD's.
