    Default I Veiled my tail!

I had to remove one of my taillight assemblies to repair a faulty socket, so I decided to remove both assemblies and Veil them. I also Veiled the reflector on my trunklid, so now I'm at least semi-protected in the rear. I still need to do something with my rear plate. I'll probably get a clear cover and Veil it.

The end result turned out pretty good. The reflector and taillights look darker but not any worse than if they were dirty. Luckily it was a warm enough day to play with the Veil.

Although I haven't seen Lidar from the rear in NH, you never know when someone will get the bright idea...

Just as an aside, what wattage are your taillamp bulbs? I've always noticed my Saabs were really bright and the bulbs are 21 W.

The bulbs are standard taillight bulbs, no idea what wattage they are. Probably not a whole lot. Cheap car = cheap lighting.

I think 21 watts are what most vehicles are. The brightness is affected by the housing design, not the actual bulb so much.

be careful with the rear plate! if u make it too obvious looking u may be in trouble! but its good to have some protection rather than none.
