I just applied my new g4 last week to my headlights and tail lights as well as a Laser shield cover for my front plate. I used the brushes that came with it and tried to keep as light of coat as possable after my last debokal with the older veil on my last car ( thick streaky and ugly). I use a pair of night vision goggles with infrared LEDs to check for vulnerabilities. I believe the LEDs are around 904 nm as they look the same color as the li heads as opposed to 880nm from a tv remote which looks a bit purple. Anyway the question. The laser shield dramatically reduces the plate reflection, but I can't notice much if any reduction in reflection off the veiled head/tail lights. They are bright! Did I use too thin of a coat or is there another explanation for this?
