    Default Removing veil from paint?

When I was applying veil to my headlights some of it went through the painters tape I prepped with and it wouldn't come off with windex/rubbing alcohol and i think it baked into the wax and clear coat. I went to a detail center to get them to try and polish it out and they couldn't take it off.

Does anybody have or know a solution to it?

Have you tried Ammonia? When I veil I usually have it handy as I have a dabbed paper towel with Ammonia on it for when I go "outside the lines" I usually never need to tape off using this method. I have done it on a large SUV, Small SUV and Crossover.

Also I use Ammonia to remove veil residue off before doing another coat. I know they say every 6 months, but I get by on every year. FYI - Glass Cleaner doesn't have enough Ammonia in it.
