Bands used in Illinois city streets?

Hey,

Does anyone know how I can find out what bands are used in my town besides the one I've found so far... X band? I've read about people checking the gun contracts with the state, but I don't know how to do that, is there something I can look for on the net to find out what bands are used locally? I see that there have been some people posting other threads about in town bands (I think towns in New Jersey?), I know there are some Illinois people on this board, so I wouldn't mind starting a thread similar for our state.

well i don't know exactly where you live but i can tell you that a town called western springs has and uses POP. I was told by officers at the riverside police dep. that they own POP capable guns but it sounded like they didnt use them much. BTW nice car i got the same kind.
