POP & X in Miami, Florida?

Right now I have the x-50 with POP on, but I seem to get a false every other day. Plus lots of x and k falses with a few lasers (I think).

Do I need to have the POP on in Florida and should I turn off the x band completely?

Also, I was thinking of returning the X-50 and getting the V1 (because of the arrows). Would this cause a lot more falsing?

You would have mrore luck selling your radar detector and getting a blinder. flroida uses laser heavily.

I would say turn POP off, and leave X on.

I'm going to get laser defence after I get a new car. Veil plus a jammer. Is it better to get a shifter that links with the escort or go with the blinder?

I've yet to encounter x-band radar in Florida. Most of what I get is K, Ka and once in a blue moon a shot of lazer. In my area POP is used a lot, so I have learned to live with the occasional false alert. I also keep x band sensitivity low in the city.

Frm everything that I read Laser and VASCAR (airborne) is used

VASCAR and Laser are definately used around here. I'm not sure about the POP though. I could see X used in smaller towns though.

I have never had an X encounter, I am thinking of shutting that off. Never ever have I falsed a POP or a Ka. K encounters have been rare.

Vascar is used but just look for the white lines crossing the road and slam your brakes (make sure no one is behind you) dip below the speed limit and punch the throttle.

Pacing is used but is SO EASY to beat in court. The cop will write on the ticket that he followed you from point A to point B...calculate that distance (typically 1 mile) then ask him in court for how long of a time he followed you...he always says about 10-15 mins look the magistrate in the eye and ask for the case to be dismissed because by the officers own admission you would have covered that distance in less than a minute (assuming 60MPH which you were doing right????

I can not afford to be jailed so I havent gotten a laser jammer waiting on someone to comment on jamming in Florida
