I just drove from NY to MO and back over the holiday. States entered... NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KY, WV, MD
I saw the same PA tactic described in another thread, semi-hidden LEO with Instant On and chase car down the road, when returning Tuesday night . The hidden LEO hadn't shot for some time so I ran up on him and was very surprised to not hear my RD go nuts. Relatively little monitoring in PA overall. Just Kband Drones. Too cloudy for planes.
OH was insane. Trooper after trooper. Only one laser hit in a construction zone. No need for a jammer when EVERYONE is breaking as the see him. Not difficult to navigate through the speed surveillance at all.
IN was exactly as I expected. Constant on, easy to pick out roving LEO's. No worries.
IL is almost empty. The next morning, My g/f was quite surprised to see our max speed when reviewing the GPS unit.
MO.... I used to live there and I've never been worried about an LEO. I know they have measuring technology... but I never see it.
Went to KY on the way back. I love the state but hate those grey state trooper cars. Seriously hard to see at dusk. I didn't see too may LEO's. Very quick trip to Louisville for dinner.
WV and MD were a different story. Since I didn't know the area well, the drones slowed me down every once in a while. I saw many state and county LEO's but they weren't using laser or radar at all.
2400 miles, 30 plus active LEO encounters, zero tickets. I love my X50!
All-in-All a very easy and quick driving weekend. Best of all I did not see one accident.
