Connecticut SP also has POP. Found out the hard way on I 91 South in Rocky Hill last year before I upgraded the V1 to v1.8 with POP. No warning of anything being used from the 1.7 and he said he hit me 3 times. He was sitting behind the bridge just past exit 23 on ramp. I hear they have also been using their helicopter and the SP plane/s for pacing.

Damn. Seriously? Do you have any idea what model they are using? Because last summer I had a couple of odd experiences on 91 farther south with cops sitting in the median facing traffic. I wasn't going too fast but probably quick enough to be clocked. Nothing showed up on the V1. Same thing happens to me on the Mass Pike from time to time. My assumption has always been that I didn't present a juicy enough target to release the RF hold.

According to what Roy just posted from SML, the ONLY state that still uses X is New Jersey...

I don't believe MA (all towns) is using X band any longer. I haven't seen it in use anywhere (except Joy-zee) for years.

I found a state trooper running X-band two weeks ago. I reported it here:

I believe that is reffering to state police troopers. JTW used to sell radar and he said that he sold X guns other places. There have been several posts from people getting hit with X all over the country. I'd be willing to bet there are lots of small towns here in hillbilly land (KY) that are still using X. The only bands that I have seen in Louisville have been K & Ka. That said, I am still a little scared to disable X just in case...

I have been hit with X band by a state trooper in ohio. I would also like to note that the city next to me uses X band.
