NYS Lidar Targeting Rear?

I would like to purchase the AL G8 but I was wondering if I need to invest further into the dual unit so that I would have rear protection as well.

So for all of your NY folks, especially LI people, do the state troopers ever lidar the rear of your car?

I've heard most state troopers target your rear.

In my part of NY, state police seem to be targeting only the front of your vehicle.

I drive the LIE and highways in the city alot and i have yet to see rear targeting. Normaly on the LIE you see the LEOs in there car right in the middle of the grass medians. it's setup to that when you come over a hill or around a turn they shoot you before you see them.

NYS Thruway/Northway I've seen probably 8 or so traps since I started driving 4 years ago...all traps have been directed toward the front of the car.

I drive the LIE alot and have yet to see any rear targeting. My V1 on has alerted to rear laser when i get infront of infiniti's

I have also never seen NYS Troopers shooting rear laser However in some cases I see then sitting so they could shot either direction

i know this reply is just over a month old but 2 years ago i was hit on the rear of my car from a overpass and got a ticker from a NYS Trooper. So yes they do target you from the rear.....watch out!

what road/intersate where you on by what exit or mile marker?
