Default Taking a road trip from CT to VA,any traps i should know of?

So my route is going to be i-95 south to jersey, then i'll pick up 78 west through pa, to 81 south down through VA to 66 east.

Are there any radar/lidar/vascar traps/tricks I should be aware of? Like laser from the rear?

    I have a V1.

    Thanks Guys

X is used here in NJ. Be careful on 80 West (if you take it) and 78 West. Mostly the Troopers hide in grassy knolls West of 287. In some spots you will never see them and they will IO you. I was hit with IO X last week.

Just be extra careful of them sitting in the medians. Half the time they I don't even get an alert I think they may just be sitting there, but keep your eyes ahead.

When you are on 66 East heading towards the beach, make sure you have a rabbit or don't speed. Leo's running instant on constantly. They are on the opposite side of the hwy. and will just paint you if they see you all alone.

I have driven that part of 66 many times. For some strange reason I get LASER hits but have never seen anyone responsible for doing it. I think it was around mile marker 10 or 11. Not sure if thats the number but I think thats what it is. Just keep your V1 out of plain sight while in Va. I know they use K, Ka, and laser in va.

before my detector days, I drove to and from from Northern VA to VA Tech 255 mile trip, got one ticket, LEO was hiding behind the hills, exit 290 about 10 miles before 66 East 97/65, 6 month suspension, $300 fine, a slap on the wrist in VA

As for Route 95 south, currently, my drive from Luudoun County to Norfolk ODU campus 190 miles, 2 days a week, I get laser hits with my X50, i'm pretty sure they are done from a helicopter because I have yet to see the troopers standing outside shooting laser, thats exit 160 rt 123 exit, you won't go that way but the other poster mentioned laser hits

In NJ, Garden State Parkway around exit 130-150 seems to have a lot of troopers lately. Be careful of unmarked police cars too.
