LTI is good for groups on the Highway because you have 2 lidar targetting at the same time, 1 person to pull traffic over, and 2-3 chase cars if drivers miss the signals to pull over. This kind of tactic is most common on the 407 and near Wassaga beach on long weekend, or anywhere near cottage country.
Not sure if they activiley look for JAM codes, that is impossible to know without asking an OPP officer. When I was at the auto show, they were talking all about laser and most of them had no idea what a laser jammer is or if they even exist.
I use the LPP on 10 second jam mode, tha way you have enough time to slow down and then they can get your speed.
I doubt a LEO will chase you down if they get a JTG, they can just target the 20 cars behind you travelling at the same rate of speed and not have to go anywhere.
