Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Slidell, et cetera. Lots of LIDAR.

Not sure which units they use, though.

I think I've seen them use it in Shreveport/Bossier once....but that was it. Trooper was in the median, obviously clocking people, and I got nothing.

I live in Pearl River next to Slidell. I have a Bel 895 and the only place I have ran into Laser is all around the Airport in Kenner. I don't know why but my Laser goes off from Williams Blvd to half way down the Spillway, and south down I-310 to the Airline exit. and very rarely ever see a leo with a gun.

If you know what the deal is around the Airport please let me know?

My guess is, I think they just planted Laser sensors all along I-10 and I-310.

i never have expeirenced any radar hits in lousiana, other than k band speed signs on the bridge over the lake. I hope i come across laser if that's true next time in new orleans

Cops on the Causeway use Ka band along with the Louisiana State Troopers, the speed signs on the bridge are K band, and they shoot LTI laser at about the 9 mile marker heading south and when you come off the bridge heading north to Mandeville.
