    Default Mt Rushmore

Enjoy your trip to S. Dakota, I am heading up there in 3 weeks for Sturgis. We own some property in Custer and really enjoy the area.

Only tip, watch the Rangers around Mt Rushmore. Last year I found them using an old X band radar gun.

Thanks for the info. I don't speed much unless I am on an interstate ro hwy. When I am in town or in a park or any other place where people might be, I keep my speed pretty close to the limit.

But the cops that use X can get you sometimes, because of the false alert.

You can cruise at 80mph. Limit is set at 75mph. You could go as high as 85mph and not worry. You will rarely see HP's on the highway. Because of the low population. The HP's and Sheriffs are pretty sneeky. They dont leave their radar on. Make sure you have a car infront of you.

    Thanks,
When I speed I go about 10-15 over. I try to have another car in front, but I get impatient with people that slow down, then speed up, etc, etc. SO I usually end up passing them.
I am going to check the place out so I will probably slow it down a little bit.
