Headed to Monterey, CA -- What Can I Expect?

BAE Systems is sending me to a conference in Monterey, CA (hardship) the week of labor day. I probably won't do any driving besides just airport to hotel and maybe out to dinner. And I'll be in some POS rental POS. But I WILL have the Pro-78, so what should I expect in the way of enforcement?

I will. It'll be a whirlwind tour. I get in a 4 p.m. on Monday. Conference all day Tuesday. Aquarium tour (mandatory...part of conference) Tuesday night. Conference all day Wed. Fly out wed at 6.

But Mon night I plan to do the "17 mile drive" that everyone raves about.

For CA freeways count on Ka and laser for sure.

It all depends where you go.

There may be k used locally but Ka will be the most consistent overall(should be Stalker almost always if its a CHP.) Watch out for instant on also.

I go to that area about once a month, not much LEO action, Ka on Hwy 1
Trip to Santa Cruz might be fun, 43 miles Northbound Hwy 1, everyone still lives in the 60's there.

On a side note, Phillip this is mainly for you,

They have had a K speed sign Northbound 101 leaving Salinas for along time but they just put up a Ka speed sign Southbound 101 around Prunedale before coming into Salinas.
Too far to check out unless making a trip towards Monterey area as it is 18 miles from 152 Gilroy.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. On freeway 17 I have seen quite a few k band speed signs. I think on the way to Santa cruz there must be about 2 or 3 which the V1 easily sniffed out even around the hilly and curvy terrain.

Thanks, guys. I'll probably drive from the airport to the hotel, maybe along that 17-mile drive, and back to the airport. Since the Pro-78 performs very well against stalker, I'm looking forward to it!
