What is really sad that makes my blood boil, is that, last Monday a 14 year old girl was beaten to death by a 15 year old boy outside near a bike path, I can imagine the screams of this girl...a few blocks down the road there was 5 (yes 5) cop cars pulling over drivers for speeding (maybe 5-10 kms over the speed limit). I know this because I happened to pass by that area at the time they say the girl was killed.
I really question where our morals are...getting out there to protect and serve the public or just be a cash grab for innocent law-bying motorists who go a few kms over a ridiculous speed limit on a open kids-free zone.
(The cops were on a 3 lane road, covered with trees on both sides, no buildings on a 5 kms stretch, no lights or stop signs...a prime target area)
This morning on my way to work, I passed by 2 speedtraps both with over 3 cops cars...this really disgusts me.
LE should be focusing on the real issues...I'm not objecting to speedtraps, but the places they hit you is ridiculous. I don't mind if they were on busy city streets or school zones...but on major highways, or coming off one is just money is the city's pockets.
I just wondered if this little girl could of been saved if the cops were patrolling the area instead.
Btw: I own the dual LE-30, and after 10 saves I stopped counting on how many times this little device has saved me on the highways.
