Default NJ Route 287---anyone know what these troopers are using?

I've been driving back and forth on Route 287 the past couple of days, between Edison and Parsippany. So I spot a few NJ troopers hiding in their usual median spots as well as ones who have pulled over their victims already.

I'm confused why there have been no alerts whatsoever from the Pro-78. Anyone know if these NJ Troopers monitoring Rte 287 are using instant-on or even laser?

Sounds like your unit has the "pacing" bug. I'd send it in for an update. JK on the update. Be careful, lately (6+ months) it's been a lot of pacing and instant on. Also, be alert to the speed changes (65 -> 55) they'll tag you right after the drop so they get you for more over the PSL. Nice bunch of dick-tators those NJSP. I don't' sound to bitter do I

This is apparently a tactic that the njsp like to use, they're really selective with their instant on. I can't tell you how many times I've driven by a trooper hanging out in one of the alcoves on the turnpike and the V1 stays quiet. It's not your detector, you're not alone...

Yeah, NJSP know better than to blast their radar at a pack of passing cars. They selectively target individual cars when they know they can get a good reading.

I've driven past plenty of troopers sitting in the medians and gotten no reading on my detector.
