    Default TX DPS & Laser

My guess is they are using laser, I have never encountered it. If so have any of you guys been hit? Any idea what they are using. I been trying to search for it and they are for sure training officers to use it.

    Thanks in advance

Watch out they do use laser but I have only seen it once. My father however sees them every day running laser. As you come over the Bridge from Rowlett to Rockwall an officer will hit you way back there. When you get up there he is sitting in the grass just off the entrance ramp and gun pointed out the window. In the morning he faces the opposite direction on the highway doing the same thing. Also one day there was a stalled 18 wheeler and my father said that he came by and didn't even see him there. The trooper parked his car in front of the 18 wheeler and then stood in the front side shooting the cars with laser as they approached.

Also I travel the 190 and they just use Ka most of the time.

Wow. Never seen that. Something else to look out for... :?

I would hate to stumble onto one of those guys unannounced.

On I-10 my family and i were going to boumont Texas. I was driving and bought my Escort 8500 X50. I mainly encountered Ka- Band but approaching an underpass an officer was getting out of his trooper car and had a ultra lyte laser. Im glad i was going fast before because if i came a seccond later going 85 in a 70mph, I would have been dead. Look out FOR TROOPERS HIDING BY UNDERPASSES.

Overpasses, curves, anything to help them. As you scan the road think about where you would hide if you were a LEO
