I think the more popular Trapster became the worse it got.

trapster is useless without popularity!

If thats your theory then start getting active on it and enter some traps. Get your friend and family to use it and you will have added a few extra added helpers.

If you think it's a hassle, you will think the same about the ticket you get because you didn't slow down in places police like to sit or are sitting. Ponder that!

And, if you think it sucks, become a mod and help the community even more!

I use it on my gps & ipod touch works ok but it depends on the knowlege of the reporter I have seen plumbing vans confused for mobile speed cams and sites stay visible way too long after it is abandoned by cops. I would prefer 1 day tops

Live Police are active for 1 hour, accidents are 2 hours. I forget what the other temporary traps are, but you can find that on their site.

I understand your frustration of stale traps. I myself have been told by friends they never see the police where I report them. However you must understand that police are quick to find a target as well as get other calls. They may or may not stay in the spot for an hours period of time. But think about it, it's better to know police were in the area than not to. This way if you keep seeing traps in that same area on another day, you can figure out how often they are in that spot.


Id rather it show police there than, not long enough, and result on getting tagged.
