Default Confirmed.. Fairfax County mostly use LASER

One of our church member's husband is a Fairfax County Police. I asked him what is more used in Fairfax County and he confirmed it's the Laser gun because of the accuracy. He did say radar is also used but mainly laser in the city limits.

I saw FCP police on route 28 before Dulles air and space museum exit with laser gun this afternoon.

Laser has been their primary weapon of choice for some time now. However, I have been encountering them with more radar of late as well.

They're always on rt 28 btw..........

Have you had any instance of I/O in Fairfax County or Northern Virginia area lately?

I have had some recent instant on encounters with loudoun and VSP. Its very rare to see a fairfax cop doing instant on since most of their cruisers don't have radar.

Overall in VA(and to our advantage) instant on is not commonly used as it is elsewhere.
