could it be a false? I really doubt we have Ku band in the USA, Unless is a FTA satellite dish
did u drive up to him and did it ramp up?
you see, the parking lot was across the park, By the time i got to the parking lot he was gone. its funny, i just purchased the radar in december, and the day before i got ku band alert; the ku band was turned off. I travel some the same roads everyday, and i have all the false signals locked out, so when i got ku band alert, i was shocked.

Ku band is not approved for speed enforcement in the USA. No department will purchase a radar that is not valid in court. Flase alarm.
Once again...there is NO Ku band traffic radar in use in the US. MPH briefly tested a unit years ago but it never went anywhere, but ever since they did that it has sparked the persistent rumor that Ku band radar is just right around the corner.
The first time I heard about it "coming soon" was probably back in 1998. Guess what? It still isn't here.
I remember some US market RDs advertising Ka/Ku capability. One of the many bands picked up by Cobras, for example...
