Default Fairfax County PD using Ka radar

Today was my first encounter with FairfaX County PD using CO Ka radar. I was very surprised since FCP mainly uses PLIII for speed enforcement. I've ran into plenty of Staties with Ka radar but never before with FCP. Glad I purchased STi with the LI because I would of been toasted.

A few weeks ago I ran into a FFX cop on 28 running C/O K band. No, thats not a typo either.............thats the first time I've seen them with K band in a long time.

CO K in FFC? I gotta be really careful because you and I both know on 28 near the dulles air space museum, there's a K band warning coming from the shopping center to the right where Gold's gym is.

    Thanks for the info.

No definately wasn't the usual false near the air&space museum. Bogey counter was reading two and it was much stronger K than usual. Cop(marked FFX cruiser) was sitting on left shoulder and the arrow switched from infront to behind as I passed him. MWAA police like to sit around that part of 28 and run K band also.
