Excellent. I thought you had given up on us.

Luckily, we're about far enough into Summer now that we won't have to worry as much about rain-outs anymore.

Hey SS, let's convene to meet in Austin one of those Fridays. I'd like to check up on Fritter again.

I may come meet up with you guys. Hopefully my stimulus will come so I can stimulate sales for Cliff in acquiring a pair of rear heads. Still iffy letting a local LEO get a bead on my rig.

Fritter's a good guy but don't speed on his beat. He'll give you a little over if you stop and talk but if you make a blind drive by and he locks you he'll hold you to the limit. But stop and hang out, he's a good guy PLUS you don't need to speed because he'll tell you whether he clocks you or not, he'll even show you the gun.

I never speed (outside Fritter's limits) anywhere in the Austin area. It's the RR LEOs who will only give you +4 and on some of their roads that is just too slow. My favorite is RRPD clocking people coming off 45 and hit them on the exit ramp because it drops from 70 to 45 in the span of 150 feet. Mind you this same road with more taffic, less improvements was 55 before the toll road - much of what was 1325 was also artificially lowered from 60 to 45 after the toll road. That is why I have my gadgets, when the state and/or the locals play games with the PSL. The rest of the time I like to know what is going on - situational awareness.
