    Default Virginia Users

    Hello,
I'm fairly new to the forum.
I just received my STi driver, and am extremely excited about it, and my involvement in the RadarDetector.net forum.
I'm curious though, if I post information and stories about encounters in Virginia, could there be negative repercussions against me by law enforcement?

Some cops do lurk on this forum but, no. Just as long as you keep your private info secret, you'll be fine.

What... the Brentwood Charger? They're just a bunch of Cops who write speeding tickets, clear soccer mom wrecks and direct church traffic on Sunday. No crime or anything.

That STi will come in handy in VA. I was in VA last month around the 4th and my Bel STi saved me numerous times while there.

Yes, the VSP and other law enforcement agencies in Virginia continuously stalk this board trying to nail us, it's what they live for. Just joking, well sort of. There was that one guy on here that posted how he got caught and the details of his ticket. The cop had a print out of the post from this website in court.

    Virgina needs to lighten up.
When I was in the Navy (Nav Sta Nor Va) I had a hidden remote dector. It was great!!
That was back in the early 80's pre rd dector days. Car even passed base inspection they never saw it!! The only ticket I got down there was on the bay bridge tunnel 11 pm cop was not running radar. He was parked next to the second tunnel. Who would of thought a cop would be parked in the middle of the bay bridge.

It's not surprising since the Bay Bridge has it's own police department. Mostly people that live in that area are the only ones that know that.
