I was just thinking - I drive over the flats twice a month. The interstate is built over the flats, but sits just 2 feet over the hard salt. There is no barrier to stop you from pulling over and driving straight onto the salt.
After watching this video, I was thinking, why not just get off the interstate and onto the salt and drive like 100 mph parallel with the interstate. I don't think I can get a speeding ticket for that. Its about 45 miles across. Now that would be funny.
