St. Charles County - Level of Speed Traps today - HIGH

I am hearing O'Fallon, MO and St. Charles County both do Multi Car speed traps right now.

I have never heard county do them.

Locations:

I-70 and TR Hughs (Laser) O'Fallon Police
I-64 at an unknown cross street - South Ofallon(ish) area.

WTF is going on out there? You've been making my phone go off not stop this morning. I think I got 5 trapster alerts in the past hour.

Here are all the trapster alerts I've got total this morning.

Tr Hughes & 70, laser revenue bomb
40 and technology,
64 at 94, laser revenue bomb
64 at K, laser revenue bomb
70 in st. peters,
Winghaven and Technology,
Harmony and T. Terra,
Bryan and White Magnolia,
Chesterfield airport rd and industrial blvd.

Who was shooting laser at 94?
What kind? I believe I saw motor-jock laser last summer on the WB side as you come around the turn after the bridge.

I'm on on radioreference's feeds now.


Edit again: I hear them on radio reference and the county is making a shyte load of stops aswell. O'fallon leo-10-8 summons


I heard all of Francis Howell district is on lock down. Am I glad I'm in safe st. louis city right now.

County is on 156.000 MHZ Digital . They are sitting right on top of MO-94 hidden real well behind the sign.

They were shooting WB I-64 but had no luck. I did a few runs, but only got shot once and I had all other audio levels up too high to hear what gun it was.

They were also using radar at one point, then both, then just laser.

They are working EB traffic now.

I believe I heard Ofallon got a guy for 70mph and the county get somebody for doing 39. 39? What is going on. Wait I know! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

County has laser. [Insert profanity here] Sometimes I can pick up the county down here and sometimes I can't. Right now I can't.


more edit: I just heard what sounded like the county channel say I'm glad your mommy allows you to do this with us... then he comes back on and says "I mean your daddy." Did you hear any of this?


I recorded some of the trap audio on my computer that I'll probably post here or PM. I believe it was on one at 94 but want to make sure. Just have to upload it first.

I stopped listening after I did my run by them a few times. A scanner listiner on Radioreference.com said that they saw them setting up this morning at MO-94 and MO-364.

I think they are newbies to laser and also speed traps. It's sad to see the county has went this way.

X2. I was on 40 a bunch in the past and only saw 2 county cars in two years ever enforcing traffic.

Where were they exactly hiding behind at 94. I'm going to drive through there today.

Its starts off with talking about Francis howell but then gets on the speed traps. It sounds like they sometimes got the cars confused. Black Charger, then charcoal gray charger..

They were calling out cars and could not give a description. They would saw two ladies in the front seat. Blue car, honda accord.

They just were too blunt for an officer to actually know who the speeder was.


The way they kept switching off with the radar and laser gun, will land them in a whole crap load of trouble because if a person asks for both operators to be present in court they will look at each other and say who was shooting.

I heard they were "on the overpass" on Saturday from an untrained eye. I'm guessing it was county. Ofallon was all over 40 Saturday night. Also, Lake has stepped it up lately. All units were on 40 Saturday morning and last night. I saw 3 traffic stops on the same stretch of EB 40 between 70 and the blvd but the bogey counter only showed 1.
I hope were just experiencing one of those end of the month things.

Have you rented Air-One or something to report speed traps? Only 9 more to go and I'm over 100 messages from trapster since laser break out last week. 18 today.

They were awful this weekend on 40. Saturday mooring laser. Ofallon Saturday night. All Lake units were on 40 Sunday night writing summons. 201 and 280 do not give warnings. Imagine if somebody actually had an emergency.
