    Default Pa enrad

Some of the Berks County ENRAD unit's must be on loan traveling around the county again for speed enforcement days/weeks. Douglass Township + Boyertown Police were out on RT100 yesterday right before the Gilbertsville Exit RT 73. Attached is a picture to show where they were hiding, its a little entry-road into a small field. It was impossible to see the unit running the ENRAD. Lucky for me, I was able to catch the post on the right side out of the corner of my eye about 100FT in advance with just enough time to perform an ABS Brake test!

Anyway hopefully this helps some people avoid this!!

Appreciate that Pete. There is an active traffic enforcement blitz going on in PA now. Our states are broke and they want us to pick up the tab.

KaPro, same here in NYC. On this one highway there were out in full force all day running laser which I've never seen there at all...

Shoman, at least you were able to catch it in time and perform and nice brake test. Make it down on trapster if you can.

NP I'll tag it on the way home tonight!

Here is a macro view that shows the location better:

I think it was reported already. I put a thumbsup to bring it up again.

From where you said the enradd unit was set-up it looked like it was easily seen from the road. If I were that LEO trying to catch speeders I would have tryed to conceal it more.

Might be better to do it on the website than while mobile. I can always tell the difference between traps reported with the two methods because website users will pinpoint exactly where they sit off to the side of the road while mobile users put them in the middle of the road about a hundred yards past the actual trap.

I need to get one of these Enradd units. My question is, what will it take to get one?
