Default Loudoun County, VA Now Using Laser Like Crazy

It seems to my wife and I that Loudoun County Sheriffs are using Laser mainly now. Perhaps they have taken a lesson from Fairfax County to use it. Just wanted to make all you folks in the area aware of it if you were not already. Good luck!

Good info, and you have to worry about lidar at nighttime as well, they will and do use it at night. VA sucks.

Hey man, wb! Haven't seen you around in awhile.

Yeah you got to watch out for those few Spectres in VA . You might be unlucky enough to encounter one of them if you are using something other than the 4 Belscort models that are immune to it.

I've always wondered why laser was never popular in loudoun. They've had it since 2000 or 2001 but it was not until the last year that its use became widespread. As for fairfax, they've been predominately laser for awhile and they use it ALOT at night.

Also, if anyone wants to test their setups courtesy of FCPD, just take a trip on 28. They've been out there on a daily basis as part of some "aggressive driving crackdown".

EDIT: speaking of, today I got lasered on 28 near the interchange of westfields blvd. I was doing the PSL in the right lane but he decided to shoot me anyway................atleast I know all the snow and salt didn't mess up my blinders.

The STi Driver and STi-R are immune to the Spectre. None of the other listed detectors are. I don't know where you got that list, but Bel did use the STi moniker on some older model detectors that were VG-2 (but not Spectre) immune. One was called the "Vector STi" which I owned at one time.

On the Escort side of the pond, the Spectre-immune models are the 9500ci and Redline. No other Escort model is immune.
