I'm taking a road trip out west for a summer internship in a few weeks, and since I'll be driving through states I'm not familiar with, I'd like some advice on what to expect.
There's also two possible routes that Google is giving me that are almost the same length. It looks like I'll primarily be on I-90W (OH, IN, IL, WI), but I have two options in Wisconsin:
1. Stick with 90W, go across the bottom of Minnesota, across South Dakota, through Wyoming, and into Montana.
2. Take I-94W around Minneapolis, through North Dakota, and linking back up with 90W in Montana.
Both then cut across Idaho (I heard the police on that stretch are brutal) and into Washington. Do either of these routes stand out as being more "speeder friendly?"
Again, any information on what to expect in these states/along these highways (and alternate routes) is greatly appreciated All I have for countermeasures is a Bel V955, a handheld scanner (probably helpful if I can get CB stations), and my eyes. No jammers yet, but that may change by the time I take the return trip.
