Default In Connecticut radar detectors are worthless

I live in CT and it seems like almost 100% of the state troopers here use laser. It's unreal, I have a a radar detector and It's been months to almost a year since I went by an LEO using radar. Even the local cops strictly use laser. As soon as I drive into RI, MA, or NY they mostly use KA band. Why are all the cops in CT using laser.

I have a Bel Laserpro 904 laser jammer I bought years ago that is sitting uninstalled in my garage. Maybe I'll have to get it installed. Do you guys think it's still effective in jamming laser?

Yeah, Tibby, things are a-changin'. It might just be time for you to consider a counter-measure to address the proliferation of laser

If you have a good jammer then you should welcome 100 percent laser use ... it's much easier to beat than I/O radar.

Yep I only went thru you state 4 times and was lasered 3 times no radar. No big jams to brag about since the left lane hogs keep me only 5 over psl.

This is really funny that you mention this. I dont live in CT but every time I go there to visit, My radar never goes off only on K band sometimes, but I have seen that it almost useless to have a radar up there seems like everything is Laser.

I'm in CT (Danbury/Stamford) area. Still not enough laser for me to need to upgrade and they target at 1000+ft. But i drive back roads a lot.

I have gotten a few highway laser hits, but if its going the way you say i may upgrade my jammers at some point.

Best suggestion for full coverage is upgrade your jammers.
