Columbus OH to Clarion PA

Dear All,
Good afternoon. Yes, Sunday morning I am driving this route. I know it is only four hours but I do not drive 71N often and never have been on 76 or 80 with a RD. Any information would help. Maybe I will bump into one of these low powered kband guns in PA.

I can't really help you outside about a 5 mile radius of Clarion but since no one else responded yet I guess I might help a bit:

-Remember that Clarion is a university town...there's other municipalities around it and whatnot but the base of Clarion, I'd say, is Clarion University. As in all college towns, there's usually a relatively large police presence, especially since you have both the small-town police and the university police.
-When I used to visit Clarion itself, I would see local police driving around but I think I only saw someone pulled over once.
-I guess you probably know this but watch out for VASCAR...On the highways you'll be dealing with radar, but once you hit Clarion it's going to be all VASCAR.
-Watch yourself on Main Street and Greenville, those are the primary roads around town and around the university so they would have the most police presence.
-PA State Police do have a presence on the highways around Clarion, as they have a barracks right outside the heart of the town. I only ever saw 3-4 troopers out of that barracks, but that's quite a few.
-I don't know about PSP tactics in Clarion when it comes to radar, but from the looks of Trapster there's a major speed enforcement spot on I-80 just before you get to 68 (where I would imagine you're getting off to go to the town).

I used to go through Clarion a few times a year, but I haven't lately. The information should still be accurate though. Sorry I couldn't be much more help.

Yeah, you'll probably have quite a bit of laser in Ohio, but once you hit PA you'll be safe. No police, state or local, can use LIDAR in Pennsylvania.

remember They use air vascar i believe somewhere between cincinnati and columbus.i believe it was I 71. I was given a citation for 85/65 in june. both me and the rabbit were pulled over. keep a watch at the sky as well.....

Yes, they do. I drive that route often. I have only seen it once though, on a Sunday. I do look up into the sky often.
