Where did you read that turning off POP increases instant-on Ka sensitivity? Im taking a trip on I90in Mass and NY soon, so if it does increase sensitivity, I might turn off POP.

I dont drive around with POP-on in NYS, the odds of hitting a 'POP' radar is less then a fraction of 1% in all of the United States... The POP Capital of the US is Nevada (I do believe) with only about 100ish units owned by the NHP for the entire state. Honestly I wouldnt be worried (and I am not) worried about POP in NYS, I feel completely confident without it turned on.
careful in mass on 90 especially between exits 1-4 before new york state, they'res a state police headquarters right on the side of hte highway and they have some series unmarked cars out there.
Be aware of instant on K-band and speed traps on the sides of the highway, not the median.
