I'm thinking about relocating to So Cal (LA). Just wondering what the most current local laws are concerning RD and other counter measures.

Are they still banning mounting anything on the windshield?

What kind of speed trap is the most common in LA? Will V1 be sufficient?

It's still technically illegal to mount anything outside of the bottom two corners or the upper center, but I've been pulled over many times and I've never had any LEO even mention it. If you hardwire your radar detector high, I highly doubt you're going to have any issues.

About 80/20 radar/laser overall, but you literally could see anything from whatever local jurisdiction you're up against. CHP is using laser more and more, including the TruSpeed S, so you're probably going to need some LIs.
