Greenville County has started doing something new, as far as patrolling I-85 goes. For the past two weeks now, each weekday there have been two "kilo" (K-9) units assigned to I-85. They like to sit near I-85N/I-185, where the traffic units used to frequently hang out.
I'm assuming they are mainly looking for drugs; most of their traffic stops are on vehicles with out of state plates. I am not sure if they run radar. They are using Chevy Tahoes, navy in color, with the standard GCSO markings. I'll try and get a picture soon. |
