NC Buncombe County X Band ????

All I know is that I have used RD for years. Most of my driving is around the Charlotte area without any tickets. I had all Bands on my Passport 8500 on including Lasar except X Band, and when I came around the corner I was following two other cars and he pulled out and followed my for a about 1/4 of a mile but I was down to 50's by then so it couldn' have been from following me. My RD never went off . He pulled me and told me I was doing 69 which my GPS later confirmed. I really wanted to ask how he got me, but didn't want to push my luck. :-)

Asheville PD is for the most part K band with a car or two Ka band. I think the town of Woodfin has more Ka band than Asheville!

Hi, I live in Raleigh close to HWP offiice and they are for sure running X.

I was hit w/ K band last night by Asheville PD.

Can't figure out how else he would have gotten me. RD would have gone off in all other modes. Ticket reads ... R 68S. Should me radar right ? Anyway, might have to call and ask him once ticket is gone. It's killing me !!

Drive on Patton Ave. near Advanced Auto Parts (the shopping center next door) one of the stores in that complex causes an X band signal on my RD. See if you pick it up.
